Link a Site Into Discord Connections

So that space is there to talk about your webpage

Pasting the link in your about me is good and all, but it takes up character length and doesn't really look cool. What would look cool is adding it to your set of connections and telling about it in your bio. That way, you can have more space to either grab attention to your site or talk more... about yourself.

Discord itself gives a slight hint on what you are supposed to do, but I think this article will help clear up all the confusion on how one must connect their Neocities domain (free or not) to their profile.

First off, expand the connections and click the Globe icon (when it is hovered on it says Domain) to be greeted with this message:

You paste your site link (I typed in example.com for the sake of this article) and hit Next.

Next is a window that asks to create a DNS record, but we won't do that. Let's verify using HTTPS instead.

Notice the string of text that starts under Content (not the one in the above window, but the HTTPS one)? Hit copy and head to your Neocities Dashboard.

We create a folder named .well-known at Home (where our index.html is) and in it, we create a file named discord.html.

Now open discord.html and replace all the content with the aforementioned Content that we'd copied. Now we can go back to our Discord and hit Verify. And that's it! Your website is now part of your connections. Hopefully my walkthrough was clear enough, and if you have issues with any of the steps, drop by and leave a message in the chat!
