Genshin Impact

On a scale of 1 to 23, I give it a 21!

Good plot, simple battle system and great characters (who I definitely treat with respect), this is one of the few open-world games I still play to this day. The scenery is great, the enemy designs are actually creative, and the voice acting is stellar in almost all laguages. And a gacha system that doesn't force me to use my wallet? A pity system? MOST characters rerun a healthy amount? MiHoYo has delivered something they still keep on serving without fail. This definitely gets the Vinyl Seal of Approval!

Undertale

On a scale of 1 to 99, I give it a 99!

where do i even start? the pixel graphics, the music, the cast, the battle system, the ability to SPARE??? this is one heck of a game.

The enemy designs are so unique, yet perfectly coexist while fitting within their regions properly. Forever grateful to Temiie Chang for delivering a fraction of her true power. And don't get me started on the music, Toby Fox absolutely COOKED the soundtrack OMG TwT

The battle system is so simple it just works, being an RPG + bullet hell. Just the ability to spare (and flirt) also opens up a lot of potential dialogue (and second hand embarrasment opportunities). The personality of all the characters just makes you want to look through the game in EVERY angle possible. This is one of the few games where I just HAD to play all the routes. I even drew the characters in multiple styles and roleplayed as some of them, even having social media accounts based on Frisk and tEMMIE.

Overall, this is such a goated game, or dare I say, an experience like no other. This built a lot of my core values and was basically my childhood RPG. This definitely gets the Vinyl Seal of Approval!

Bejeweled Twist

On a scale of 1 to 15, I give it a 15!

Bejeweled Twist is a cool game. It brought a good twist to the Match-3 genre along with the introduction of Bad Gems, Bombs and Doom Gems. It's such a simple addition, but it does a lot with the implications they bring.

First off is the ability to make false moves, which is necessary to tackle the bad Gems. then there's the Multiplier, which is filled a tick for every consecutive match. There's Lock Gems too which are adamant to move and thus have to be broken by first matching them.

You can see where this all is going, adding all ths together makes for a great experience when playing. Along with a coolass soundtrack and great backgrounds, it's an experience I get nostalgic to and come back to time and time again. This definitely gets the Vinyl Seal of Approval!

Skullgirls Mobile

On a scale of 1 to 25, I give it a 24!

I know it's not the true Skullgirls experience, this truly enlightened me to the realm of 2D fighter games. The hot/demure/cute roster (Black Dahila Maximuum W) is interesting while still grounded for maximum fun, and the artstyle is ABSOLUTE CINEMA.

It's mostly played by fighting three characters, built by other players and contolled by AI, cuz PvP isn't the best (slow servers in parts of the world, like mine) but it plays out ridiculuosly well. Well worth to just pull out when idle and play a game or two, as the rounds are short enough.

They have a diverse set of Game Modes for both PvAE and PvP, along with a campaign for a change of pace when needed. They tend to never let things go stale, I'll tell you that! Overall, it's a cool game as well.

Terraria

On a scale of 1 to 73, I give it a 69!

The true shoeboxing experience, enjoy dying time after time after time in a 2D pixel mining/exploration game that's designed to teach you all the basics by slapping you in the face over and over. Bathe in the soundtrack of waooaooaoo wooooaaao waoooooo boop boop as bats chase around you because you're carrying around 206 bunnies. Piss on the flying eye and piss it off hard enough it grows teeth, and then wrestle with either its brain or meat scepter to begin the CANON experience.

Filled with furniture that can fill even the peskiest of corners and bosses that make you feel like the NPCs, to mods that add so much more content you lose count of what's important, this is something you don't want to miss.

This game also loves to be funny when you play co-op. The funniest shit happens when playing together, giving it the Vinyl Seal of Approval!

OneShot

On a scale of 1 to 50, I give it a 50!

OneShot is a great game. You should play it. There's a cat, Niko, who likes pancakes. They run around with a lightbulb that is the Sun. Niko is also very demure and adorable, because they have a nice mom who lives in a village on the fields, making pancakes. I cried four times.

I will not spoil it at all, but if you ever see the camera where you take a photo in, do take multiple pictures. That's the last time you can take pictures with them. Niko likes pictures. They also like pancakes. Did I mention that Niko likes pancakes? I'd make pancakes forever if it means seeing Niko again. OneShot definitely deserves the Vinyl Seal of Approval!

Guilty Gear STRIVE

On a scale of 1 to 64, I give it a 60!

This is one of the first 2D side-scrolling fighters I've played, my only prior experiences being Skullgirls, and by a stretch, YOMI Hustle, and yet its fluidity through the tutorials and ease of getting used to blew me away!

Their missions are on point for practising moves while in controlled environments, and their Discord was very welcoming towards Newbies to up their game. Though I'd recommend getting into this with a few couch co-op goobers for the bbest experience. And this game runs on old PCs. I mean, Dell Optiplex 7080-kinda old (too specific huh?) as long as you have the Potato Mod downloaded. It's such a lifesaver.

I am obviously biased towards Bridget, but the diverse cast of characters due to Guilty Gear's rich LORE makes the roster inviting for every type of player there is. For example, Nagoriyuki had somehow clicked with me and he's such a cool concept! His usual slow movement along with the Fukyo which functions as a teleport makes him so interesting! Anyway, I am getting ahead of myself. This game definitely gets the Vinyl Seal of Approval!

Your Only Move Is Hustle

On a scale of 1 to 10, I give it an 8!

This is what you get when you play fighting games frame perfectly EVERY SINGLE TIME, Ultra Instinct style. It's basically a turn-based stickman fighting game. You know, those insanely fluid animmaion containing stickmen, fighting to the death with all sorts of weapons? Yeah that's exactly what this is.

It has a slow learning curve due to a lack of tutorials, but I suggest playing online and chatting with the other person head-on! That's what I believe the fastest way of understanding the game comes from. Once you've familiarized yourself with the default characters, you can enter the OWIE OUCHIE Zone, where all mods are available and all sorts of foes from the marketplace can beat you up. Still fun ASF.
